Continental cuisine usually refers to cuisine from the area of  European continent.Continental is mostly the cuisine of Spain,France,Portugal,  and  Italy. 

Their cuisines are almost similar type and they are neighbouring countries and state. Even if the recipes have similar names, but their ingredients are different, and their preferred  spices are different in every country.
